QUOTES:ย
Quincy
Quincy Amarikwa: (32:50) All information is great information
Quincy Amarikwa: (28:58) The person who's the dumbest is the smartest in the long run,ย
Quincy Amarikwa: (38:31) How can we win now and in the future, either they are completely stupid and dumb or they're so smart that they see the irony and how stupid it is.
Sean Johnson
17:20 (On truthful people vs untruthful people)ย โIf somebody is truthful with you, it's a lot easier to embark on that path of knowledge, of you know, kind of seeking out your own truth of what actually is rather than somebody kind of giving it to you in a sugarcoated way, in a way that may make you feel good or something like say something that you want to hear. All of a sudden, you know, two years down the road you're like, wait a second and you take a step back and you're like, I just got bamboozled and that and then, you know, and then you like put like, this guy's not even in my locker room anymore.โย
27:00 (On working in a team) โIf you're working on a team, you know, with, with all the other guys, it's not just yourself that you need to be successful. There are a lot of moving pieces, so everybody has to be on the same page.โ
34:25 (On Quincy) โIt was amazing to see just you talk about mindset. This man was relentless and getting his message across no matter what.โ
42:00 (On consistency) โWhat the name of the game is, is consistency. Really itโs just that.โ
42:22 (On putting in the work) โTo other people from the outside looking in, they may go, โOh yeah, that one moment or this one thing,โ but you may be working on it, you know, behind closed doors in the dark when nobody knows.โ
I think everybody kind of has to learn their own mannerisms and learn how to kind of adapt to different personalities but also not be afraid.ย
Sean Johnson: (16:22) just one thing that you can appreciate is like the realness factor, right? You know, having a, having a friend, a teammate who will always give it to you real no matter what.
