QUOTES:

 Quincy

  1. I’m always genuine… and you’re either gonna like it or you’re gonna hate it. I think approaching it that way establishes an environment where people make up their mind about me quickly. (12:05- 12:22)

  2.  I do things [like that] because I’m thinking more long term. Long term winner’s mindset. I believe those are the ways in which we can prove what our character actually is and what we stand for rather than people just taking one snippet or one moment or one piece of action and defining who you are based on that. (16:03-16:22)

 Speaker 3: (45:42)

Speaker 3: (45:42)

3. I'm a constant reminder to people, people day of your bullshit

4. The time is more important than the money. - Quincy

5. If someone Values my time And they want my time, I’m willing to invest my time in them. - Quincy  [If someone who wants my time values it, I am willing to invest my time in them.]

Earl Edwards Jr.

6.   I think I had a lot of closed mindedness and snap judgements and felt that I was more intelligent and felt more entitled to my opinion. To hold that against people when they disagree with me. So, I would look down on people that I felt disagreed with me or thought otherwise. So, when I thought something wasn’t funny, not only wasn’t it funny, you’re an idiot; which I found myself doing a lot in the past. That’s a tough thing to overcome. (25:17 – 25:48)

7. When RG-31 was with the Redskins, he knew the whole security staff, Lamar Jackson trying to remember everyone’s name in his building. So I kind of approach this year like that’s something I can learn from and try to do as well. I try to learn all the interns’ names, all the assistants to the managers’ names, and building relationships with them. I had no interest in gaining something from it other than let me genuinely care about people that I wouldn’t have cared about in the past. (30:02 – 30:37)

8. I’m not saying I’m perfect and I do it right every day. There are days I literally forget and I’m like, ‘that was messed up’, and I try to do better next time. It’s a work in progress, I understand that. But the intention and the consciousness of trying to build that, that’s what I found myself embracing and developing as I go. (34:21 – 34:47)

(36:16) it is more exhausting to consciously think about the people that you're trying to ignore.

(37:43) it takes way more energy and to be that selfish, close minded person

(38:58) I would say goalkeepers are smarter.
